Meriden Resources Limited was incorporated on 20 June 2008 with the objective of listing on the National Stock Exchange of Australia Limited.

Meridien Resources has been established as an investment holding company with a predominant focus on investment in the securities of publicly listed “small cap” mining and resources companies with a market capitalisation of between A$5million and A$50million.  The Company intends to focus on securities listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), National Stock Exchange of Australia (NSX) and the London Stock Exchange, Alternative Investment Market (AIM).

The Company will from time to time look to secure access to mining or other resource based assets with a view to facilitating new listing opportunities. In such instances the extent of any direct investment by the Company is likely to vary on a case by case basis but will be generally limited to providing funds to meet the costs associated with the evaluation of projects.

The Company has entered in to an agreement with the privately owned Warrinen Pty Ltd to secure the exploration rights to the Lucky Draw Gold Tailings resource situated at Burraga, 3 hours west of Sydney. Upon the successful listing of the Company on the NSX, Warrinen Pty Ltd will become a wholly owned subsidiary.
